Entering their 7th Annual event this year Oktoberfest Tampa will welcome 10,000 thirsty patrons over the festival weekend October 7-9th where once again Curtis Hixon Park will turn into Tampa’s largest, waterfront biergarten. The festival serves up tons of friendly competition with dozens of Outrageous Bavarian Games. Also will feature live entertainment and oompah bands all day every day, authentic food, music, traditional Schuplattler dancers, alphorn players, multiple game zones and more.
With over a dozen different Ourageous Bavarian Games every minute of the festival, all throughout the weekend. The games are free for guests to play with prizes and bragging rights on the line. Games include: stein hoisting, keg stacking, tug-o-war, carry the wench, tricycle races, grain sack toss, corn hole, brat toss, mustache competitions, Mr. & Mrs. Oktoberfest competitions, etc.
In addition to working with a charity (Are You Safe, Inc.), one way Oktoberfest Tampa is able to give back to the community is by offering free entry to our service men and women. Every year, they offer free general admission entry for veterans, military members or first responders and their guest. That is valid for any of the military branches (active or retired) and is also valid for any first responder departments, EMS/Fire/PD.
