The 13th Annual ” Cars for the Cure” Heathrow automotive festival will be held on February 11th at Colonial TownPark in Lake Mary.
This charitable event, hosted by the American Lung Association in Florida, promises to be like no other. Central Florida’s 2017 Cars for the Cure will showcase an array of the most distinctive and unforgettable cars around the world such as Lamborghinis, Bugattis, Porsche, and Aston Martins that will line up the street of Colonial TownPark for the largest charitable car show in Southeast United States.

Volusia county Government and Daytona International Speedway are again partnering to bring this iconic race to the community. The Daytona Beach Half Marathon returns February 5th. Registration is now open.
Named one of the seven scenic half marathons in America by Active.com, this is one of the most unique courses in the running world. The course starts and finishes at the World Center of Racing, taking runners from the historic flat asphalt surface of Daytona International Speedway’s racing apron, onto the main thoroughfare, to a panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean from high atop the International Speedway Boulevard bridge. The course will continue east to the sparkling, white, hard-packed sands of Daytona Beach, then back to the start/finish line.
The 2016 marathon drew 2,748 runners from throughout the United States and seven countries.

The mission of Taste of the World is to bring tasty international foods, along with great beer, wine and entertainment to the beautiful city of Clermont. It’s a great day for people to spend with their family and friends eating amazing food, enjoying the great weather, and engage in a melting pot of culture on the beautiful lake front park during the festive holiday season.
