The 3rd Annual WinterFair at Florida Scrub-Jay Trail offers the excitement of a country Christmas December 20-21st.
The aromas of pine boughs, cinnamon and hot mulled cider, gift shopping, wagon rides pulled by a team of draft horses including Domenic the Italian Donkey. The Kids Craft Village will feature Donna Dewberry from the PBS show “One Stroke Painting with Donna Dewberry” and Brandee Thunberg along with the students from Grassy Lake Elementary will display artwork.
The festivities begin on Friday, December 20th with a concert by legendary singer, songwriter and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame winner John Sebastian of the Lovin’ Spoonful. Gates open at 5pm and concert at 7pm.
On Saturday, December 21st from 10am to 5pm. WinterFair continues on the promenade by the lake with food, art, old time crafters of stained glass, blacksmithing, gifts of nature & much more.
Outdoor activities include kayaking on the lake, paddle board demonstrations and horse drawn wagon rides through the wilderness. All kinds of animals like Florida snakes, creatures from Swamp Girl’s Adventures, live music from Lost Lake Elementary Children’s Chorus.

LEGOLAND Florida celebrates the holidays with Christmas Bricktacular, Countdown to Kids’ New Year’s Eve and Kids’ New Year’s Eve Bash.
Christmas Bricktacular festivities take place every Saturday and Sunday in December. Fireworks will take place every night at 7pm during Countdown to Kids’ New Year’s Eve Dec 26-30th and will wrap up on the night of the ultimate Kids’ New Year’s Eve Bash on December 31st.
Christmas Bricktacular activities include:
- LEGO Santa Model: For the first time at LEGOLAND Florida, families will have a photo opportunity with a life-sized LEGO Santa Claus.
- LEGO Christmas Tree: The more than 30-foot-tall LEGO Christmas tree made with a combination of 270,000 forest green LEGO and DUPLO bricks. Through Dec. 25, a special family will be chosen to help light the Bricktacular tree each night.
- LEGO Model Build Activity in the Wells Fargo Fun Town 4D Theatre Plaza.
- LEGO Santa Scavenger Hunt: Help find Santa in this fun filled holiday scavenger hunt. The whole family can enjoy searching for Santa in the over 30 million LEGO bricks that make up Miniland USA.
- LEGO Santa and LEGO Toy Soldier Characters: Guests will have meet and greet opportunities with LEGOLAND Florida’s special holiday friends, LEGO Santa and LEGO Toy Soldier.
- Holiday Decorations: Guests will get into the holiday spirit with sounds of the season and holiday decorations that fill The Beginning and Fun Town areas of the park along with a winter wonderland feel as snow falls all around them.
