This is the 50th anniversary of the Grant Seafood Festival happening March 5th and 6th.
Free admission, free parking, over 100 crafters exhibiting, live continuous entertainment, along with a scrumptious menu of succulent seafood makes this a weekend no one wants to miss.
What sets this seafood festival apart from others is that it runs through a 100% volunteer effort. All preparation , whether it be on the grounds or with the purchasing, cooking or serving of the various menu items is accomplished by volunteers of the community. There are no food vendors on site. All booths are run with volunteers many booths are made up of family members often times having several generations working along side one another. It is this complete volunteer effort that makes this festival unique. The total commitment of the community and volunteers makes the Grant Seafood Festival a time honored tradition unlike any other.
All proceeds from the Grant Seafood Festival are put back into the community of Grant. Include a Scholarship Fund, the Grant Library and the Grant Historical House. So come and enjoy some of the best seafood in Florida and help out the community of Grant at the same time.

The Tampa Bay AirFest is MacDill’s opportunity to say “thank you” to the community and the state for all their incredible support. This event will be held at the MacDill Air Force Base on March 19-20th.
Guests will experience static displays of military aircraft, aerial demonstrations by the U.S Air Force Thunderbirds and learn more about the military personnel and equipment MacDill Air Force Base uses to carry out the missions.

Volusia County Government and Daytona International Speedway are again partnering to bring this iconic race back to the community. The Daytona Beach Half Marathon returns February 7th at the World Center of Racing.
Named one of the seven scenic half marathons in America by Active.com this is one of the most unique courses in the running world. The iconic course will start and finish at Daytona International Speedway taking runners from the historic flat asphalt surface of the racing apron onto the main thoroughfare to a panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean from high atop the International Speedway Boulevard bridge. The course will continue east to the white hard-packed sands of Daytona Beach then back to the start/finish line. Runners will be among the first to see the newly renovated Daytona International Speedway.

Heart for Habitat takes place Valentine’s Day weekend, February 13th and 14th. There will be an art and craft show, home and garden show, a car and bike show, children’s activities, entertainment and Brevard’s largest Human Heart (you can participate) and live music plus food trucks. Admission and parking are free.
Heart for Habitat will be held at the Harley Davidson dealership in Palm Bay.

The 12th Annual “Cars for the Cure” automotive festival happening on February 12-14th at Colonial TownPark in Lake Mary. This charitable event, hosted by the American Lung Association in Florida, promises to be like no other.
Lamborghinis, Bugattis, Porsche, and Aston Martins are just a few of the over 150 cars that will line the streets of Colonial TownPark for the largest charitable car show in the Southeast United States. Central Florida’s 2016 Cars for the Cure will showcase an array of the most distinctive and unforgettable cars from around the world with proceeds from the festival to benefit the American Lung Association in Central Florida.

The Port Canaveral Seafood Festival takes place February 27th at the Exploration Tower. Featuring only authentic local seafood prepared by local chefs. Including the winners of the Famous Chowder Cook off.
