Howl O Scream at Busch Gardens will be overgrown with dark, sinister, adult-targeted fun and the chance to ride adrenaline fueled coasters at night.

From September 26th until November 1st Howl-O-Scream 2014 unleashes a new type of terror. Busch Gardens Tampa transforms into Florida’s top-rated Halloween event, complete with 300 acres of fears and frights, including new horrifying haunted houses and sinister surprises around every corner.

The streets will swarm with hundreds of roaming creatures, making escape nearly impossible with a shocking live show will get your pulse pounding and Florida’s top thrill rides in the dark will keep the screams coming all night long. Soon, fans will experience the most horrifying Howl-O-Scream ever, leaving them begging for mercy…and screaming for more.

Winter Park Autumn Art Festival

The Winter Park Autumn Art Festival, presented by Florida Distributing Company and Subaru will celebrate its 41st anniversary on October 11-12th at its permanent home in Central Park located along Park Avenue. The Winter Park Autumn Art Festival is the only juried fine art show to showcase Florida artists exclusively.

This event will feature live musical entertainment on the Central Park Stage, children’s activities led by instructors from The Crealdé School of Art, food and a sidewalk sale at local merchants. The event is free and open from 9am to 5pm.

American International Motorcycle Expo

The AIMExpo (American International Motorcycle Expo) returns to the Orange County Convention Center on October 16th through the 19th.

AIMExpo provides participants the chance to immerse themselves in motorcycling through exclusive product debuts, showcases, riding demos, educational opportunities, meet & greets, autograph signings from a wide variety of motorcycling celebrities, and more. Over 450 exhibiting companies from every category of the motorcycle marketplace will be present in AIMExpo’s indoor and outdoor exhibit areas. Major motorcycle manufacturers will be featured along with parts & accessories suppliers, apparel & gear companies, and more. Attendees can experience what’s new for the 2015 model year and see thousands of new products and services.

At AIMExpo Outdoors attendees can test ride the newest motorcycles, scooters, ATV’s, and side-by-sides from participating manufacturers. Fans new to motorcycling can learn proper riding and safety techniques at the Motorcycle Safety Foundation new rider introductory experiences.

Taste of the Coast

Restaurants, bistros and pubs from throughout central Brevard County will showcase some of their best and popular dishes at the inaugural Taste of the Coast, presented by the Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce October 10th from 5:30pm to 8:30pm at the Cocoa Beach Country Club (5000 Tom Warriner Blvd). Residents and area guests will have the opportunity to sample foods from a variety of both well-known establishments and newcomers to the Space Coast dining scene all in one evening.

The Taste of the Coast will feature land and sea favorites, specialty appetizers, locally brewed and produced beverages along with live entertainment. Florida Beer Co. will offer samples of several of their craft beer lines and Sublime Restaurant and Sangria Lounge will provide samples of their popular sangria. Admission, both general and VIP, includes sampling of all food and beverage offerings. VIP admission includes early admission and a complimentary beverage.

Live music by well-known local guitarist John Condon. You will be eligible to win one of several door prizes, and can choose to bid in the live auctions.

Inter-Tribal Native American Holiday Powwow

Bring the whole family and spend the day at the 3rd Annual Inter-Tribal Native American Holiday Powwow at Dade Battlefield Historic State Park September 26-28th. Featuring a Native American Dancing contest with dancers competing for prizes. There will be lots of native american food, crafts & wares vendors, live demonstrations, singing, dancing, storytelling, and much more.

Grand Entry times are Friday 6pm, Saturday 1 & 6pm, Sunday 1pm. All Grand Entry’s will include a veterans honor service.

Powwow Hours are Friday 10am-9pm, Saturday 10am-9pm and Sunday 10am-5pm.

Admission is $3.00 per person and children under 12 are admitted FREE.
