It’s baaaack… Light up UCF “50 Nights of Music, Lights & Ice” on November 14th until January 4th presented by Carl Black of Orlando and CFE Federal Credit Union at CFE Arena.
Light Up UCF has become a holiday tradition, offering an 8,000 square foot outdoor ice skating rink, rides, and holiday attractions. And back again this year, it will be SNOWING every evening. Get ready to experience a Bigger, Brighter, and Brrr-ier Light Up UCF.
Also enjoy the fan favorite Ice Rink Pavilion, the CFE Federal Credit Union Ferris Wheel, Blizzard ride, the Arctic Glide Ice Slide presented by Race Trac and Santa’s Workshop presented by Coca-Cola, there are several free opportunities for families including the Holiday Film Festival shown on a giant two-story screen and the Holiday Light Show presented by Orlando Sanford International Airport with thousands of lights choreographed to seasonal musical selections and snow, spun by a live DJ.
If you’re looking for other family fun activities, a charity 5k has been added to the list of events. Supporting Second Harvest Food Bank and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals with UCF’s Knight-thon, The Light Up UCF Knight Run is open to people of all ages and activity levels. Feast on the 50 presented by Harris Bank takes place December 7th from 4pm until 7pm at the Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium.
A great member, family and guest event, the annual Feast on the 50 is tons of fun for all ages. Fabulous food, beverages and festivities take to the field at the Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium, rounded out with great entertainment and an awesome fireworks show.

The 7th Annual Dogtoberfest & Running of the Wieners is happening in Highlander Park in Dunedin on November 15th.

The flavors of Argentina and Chile will sizzle at the new Patagonia Marketplace when Disney’s fall culinary extravaganza. The 19th Epcot International Food & Wine Festival September 19th – November 10th at Walt Disney World Resort. The 2014 festival kicks off a week early and runs 53 days, up seven days from the previous 46-day event and will feature new marketplace menus and debuting a variety of premium dining events.
You’ll be able to pair wines and beers with savory and sweet dishes from more than 25 ethnic and specialty marketplaces as they stroll the World Showcase Promenade and earn stamps on their complimentary festival “passport” souvenirs. Champagne, cocktails and “mocktails” also will be on festival menus.
Included with Epcot Admission: Back to Basics series, special book signings, Eat to the Beat concerts, cultural adventures, Marketplace Discovery Passport and all attractions and park entertainment are included with regular Epcot admission. Festival hours extend to 10pm. each weekend.
