Join Special Olympics of Florida for the Polar Plunge 2015 at SeaWorld Orlando’s Aquatica on February 7th.
Polar Plunge is a fundraiser for Special Olympics, during which individuals and teams, alongside Special Olympics athletes, take the plunge into bodies of cold water. There are two ways for you and family and friends to participate. You can take the vital plunge and donate online or you could take the physical plunge.
Everyone who raises a minimum of $100 may take the physical plunge. As you raise more money, you will be eligible for cool prizes like tickets to SeaWorld, Aquatica and even Discover Cove.
As many of you know the water at the Aquatcia is heated but for the Polar Plunge it’s not. In addition to jumping into cold water for a good cause, a highlight of the annual event is the array of crazy costumes that Plungers are encouraged to wear in the name of fun. If that’s not motivation enough, 100% of proceeds support Special Olympics Florida.
